Following the renovation of the Zand Morada Renovation The Collective Studio was commissioned to further activate the front area of the property—transforming it into a distinctive café-bar concept.

Pladao Café by Zand introduces a unique spatial identity inspired by Egyptian aesthetics, creating a bold contrast within the coastal hotel context. The design blends sculptural forms, textured surfaces, and warm tonal palettes to evoke a sense of mystery, richness, and timeless character.

Positioned at the hotel’s frontage, the café functions as both a welcoming entry point and a social hub, offering guests and visitors a dynamic space that transitions seamlessly from daytime café to evening bar.

This project reflects our approach to extending hospitality experiences beyond traditional boundaries—turning underutilized spaces into memorable destinations with strong visual identity.
