OSHA Café at Asiatique The Riverfront was designed as a refreshed evolution of the original OSHA Café concept, bringing a more vibrant and approachable atmosphere to the riverside destination while preserving the brand’s distinctive Thai identity with an international perspective.

Inspired by the flagship branch on Wireless Road, this project reinterprets contemporary Thai dining through a space that feels more open, energetic, and interactive—perfectly suited to the lively character of Asiatique and its riverside lifestyle destination.

A Restaurant Designed Around Experience

One of the defining elements of this branch is the integration of a Thai cooking school within the restaurant itself.

Designed with an Open Kitchen Workshop Concept, the space allows guests dining inside the restaurant to observe live cooking demonstrations and culinary workshops throughout the day. This creates an environment filled with movement, interaction, and the sensory experience of Thai cuisine being prepared in real time.

Rather than functioning solely as a restaurant, OSHA Café becomes an immersive culinary destination where dining, learning, and social interaction naturally coexist.

Balancing Thai Identity with Contemporary Design

The overall design language maintains OSHA Café’s balance between Thai inspiration and modern international aesthetics.

Warm materials, layered lighting, and spatial openness were carefully combined to create an atmosphere that feels:

  • Elegant but approachable

  • Contemporary but culturally rooted

  • Active yet comfortable for long dining experiences

The result is a restaurant environment that supports multiple experiences throughout the day—from casual dining and workshops to social gatherings and evening meals.

Contemporary Thai Identity

The design language carefully balances Thai cultural inspiration with contemporary international aesthetics.

Warm materials, layered lighting, and spatial openness were combined to create an atmosphere that feels:

  • Elegant yet welcoming

  • Contemporary yet rooted in Thai culture

  • Lively while still comfortable for extended dining experiences

The result is a restaurant environment that evolves naturally throughout the day.

During daytime hours, natural light and workshop activities bring energy and movement into the space.

By evening, the atmosphere transforms into a warmer and more intimate dining experience along the Chao Phraya riverside.

Designing a Space with Life

What makes OSHA Café unique is not only its interior design, but the way the space remains constantly alive.

The visibility of the kitchen workshops, the interaction between guests and chefs, and the combination of Thai hospitality with contemporary dining all contribute to a restaurant atmosphere that feels dynamic rather than static.

It becomes more than a café or restaurant—it becomes a modern interpretation of Thai culinary culture presented through architecture, interior design, and experience.
