A Futuristic Learning Space Designed as a Space-Themed Adventure for Children

The Collective Studio was commissioned to design an innovative English language school located at Central Bangna, developed around a technology-driven learning environment for children ranging from early childhood to teenagers.

Originally introduced under the name “English Galaxy,” the project was later rebranded as “Skyrocket.” While the name evolved, the core concept remained unchanged:a playful educational world inspired by the excitement of outer space and futuristic adventure.

Learning Through Imagination

The project was envisioned as more than a traditional language school.

Instead, the goal was to create an immersive environment that feels like a space-themed amusement park — a place where children would feel excited to explore, play, and learn at the same time.

The design combines:

• futuristic spatial forms

• playful circulation

• interactive learning environments

• technology-integrated classrooms

• colorful and imaginative atmospheres

  
  

Every element was developed to stimulate curiosity and create a positive emotional connection between children and the learning experience.

Freeform Spatial Design

One of the biggest design challenges in this project was the planning and spatial organization.

Unlike conventional educational spaces based on rigid geometric layouts, the entire project was designed using freeform shapes and flowing curves. Almost no elements followed traditional rectangular planning.

This approach was intentionally developed to create:

• a more dynamic spatial experience

• a sense of movement and discovery

• softer and more playful environments for children

• an atmosphere that feels unique and memorable

  
  

The organic circulation and curved architectural forms help transform the school into an environment that encourages exploration rather than repetition.

A New Generation of Educational Space Design

Technology plays a central role in the learning system, so the showroom and classroom environments were designed to support modern educational methods and interactive teaching experiences.

The result is a contemporary educational space that merges architecture, imagination, and technology into a vibrant learning destination where children feel inspired to participate, engage, and grow.

Rather than feeling like a conventional classroom environment, Skyrocket was designed to feel like an exciting journey into another world.
