A bold creative workplace inspired by the “Fox Den” concept
Category : Workplace Location : Bangkok ,Thailand
Area : 500 sq.m.

The Fox Freedom Office is a distinctive workplace designed for a team of creative professionals in the event industry. Built around the concept of a “Fox Den,” the space becomes a gathering ground for a pack of agile “hunters”—working together, strategizing, and executing ideas as a team.
Located within Venice Di Iris in the Watcharapol area, the project spans three floors across four connected units.

Design Approach: Working Within Constraints
One of the main challenges was preserving the overall architectural identity of the existing development. Rather than altering the structure, we introduced graphic overlays and surface interventions—adding patterns and visual layers onto the original facade to enhance character while remaining contextually cohesive.
The ground floor was intentionally emphasized with darker tones, creating a stronger and more defined visual presence.

Spatial Organization
First Floor
The ground floor serves as the reception and waiting area, along with one large and one small meeting room. At the rear, the graphic and printing workspace is positioned with a separate entrance, allowing for convenient late-night operations.
Second Floor
This level houses executive offices on both sides, overlooking the central space below, along with departments such as sales and accounting.

Third Floor
The top floor is dedicated to the main creative teams—event, graphic, production, studio, and editing departments—forming the core “working pack” of the office.

Atmosphere & Experience
The reception area was opened up by removing the original stair enclosure, creating a dramatic vertical space. Standing at the center, visitors feel surrounded by activity from above—like being within a den encircled by a pack.
Executive rooms feature balconies that visually connect with the lower levels, reinforcing interaction between leadership and team members.
The central common area acts as a social hub, complete with a beverage bar where staff and clients can gather, relax, and exchange ideas.
The main meeting room is designed as an underground tunnel-like den—a hidden space for strategic discussions—while the smaller meeting room evokes the feeling of descending into a secret chamber.
At the rear, the printing room opens out to a small garden, providing a relaxing breakout space. Restrooms are designed with raw materials such as exposed concrete, brick, and copper piping, reinforcing the rugged, natural character of the concept.
Material Language & Identity
On the second floor, circulation wraps around the central void, with ceilings finished in a mix of corrugated metal sheets, exposed steel structures, and raw surfaces.
Door and window frames are abstracted into simplified linear forms—subtly referencing natural forest elements.
Executive offices, representing the “alpha foxes,” are finished with brick and copper materials, paired with vintage furniture. In contrast, the sales department, represented by “white foxes,” is designed in a lighter, white-toned palette.
Executive rooms feature balconies that visually connect with the lower levels, reinforcing interaction between leadership and team members.
A Den for Creativity
The third floor serves as the heart of the creative team—a space for collaboration, relaxation, and ideation. A shared lounge area encourages informal interaction, while each room incorporates unique design elements tailored to the specific character of its users.
Despite these variations, all spaces remain unified under the overarching identity of Fox Freedom.
The Fox Freedom Office demonstrates how storytelling can shape a workplace. By translating a strong concept into spatial design, The Collective Studio created an environment that reflects teamwork, individuality, and creativity—transforming the office into a true “den” for a new generation of creators.
